About The Rhythm Hunters The Rhythm Hunters are a world music ensemble based on the Central Coast of NSW.Led by Rendra Freestone, The Rhythm Hunters play an inspired brand of physical drumming blended with tuned wood blocks & bronze percussion. Asian flute music is woven delicately into the thundering sound fabric of drums to create a music of heaven and earth. Influences come from Japanese taiko, Indonesian music and the multicultural soundscapes of modern day Australia.
